Where MAMM is already well known for its fun, electric guitar-driven rock programming such as its popular summer camp series, and its annual Girls Rock! concert, the Academy’s MAMMOTH programs allow the school to broaden its reach across genres and instrument families.
MAMMOTH Chorus
For capable singers ages 8-18 who are looking for a rewarding group vocal experience! Led by MAMM Instructor Emma Page, MAMMOTH Chorus is a pop-, rock-, and folk- oriented singing group that rehearses weekly and performs several times throughout the year. The emphasis on learning vocal harmonies, articulation, and dynamics brings favorite songs to the next level and allows singers to flourish. MAMMOTH Chorus meets on Mondays 5:45-6:45pm at our new 144 Fore St. location.
$80 per month and half off ($40) for students co-enrolled in lessons.
Students enrolled in other MAMM lessons or ensembles receive 50% off of the tuition of the MAMMOTH Chorus.

MAMMOTH Brass Band is Back! Led by MAMM Instructor Aaron Henry, the MAMMOTH Brass Band will rehearse on Mondays 5:00-6:15 at our new downtown location at 144 Fore St. Teens and kids (10-18) who play a brass instrument will find their groove here! Trumpet, trombone, saxophone, and other brass players are accompanied by a rhythm section, and play material of their choice ranging from modern funk jams to jazz classics. There will be performance opportunities throughout the year.

Strings can rock! MAMM recognizes the need to teach young strings players that they can rock as hard as any other rock musician. The new MAMMOTH Strings program, led by cellist Annie Dodson, offers musicians ages 10 to 18 who play violin, viola, cello, or upright bass the opportunity to explore a wide range of musical genres, collaborate with a rhythm section, dive into material of their choice, and unleash their musical creativity in exciting performance opportunities throughout the year.
Starting October 23, MAMMOTH Strings meets weekly on Mondays from 5:15 to 6:30 PM in the MAMM Studio at 144 Fore Street. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, MAMMOTH Strings welcomes you. Scholarships are available.
