My name is Robben Harris, I’m a Maine-based musician, educator, and creator. I grew up in the Bangor area and later moved to New York, studying jazz performance at Five Towns College, where I worked with Dr. Steve Briody and Mark Verdino. After returning to Maine, I completed my degree at the University of Southern Maine, studying under Bronislaw Suchanek.  I am currently working on a Masters of Music Degree with a focus in Composition.

I perform on upright and electric bass, piano, and play in the following bands: Future Mailmen, rHProject, Hocus Opus, and Mike Maurice Band.  I also regularly sub in various projects and bands as well as playing weddings and musicals, performing regularly across New England.

As a faculty member at the Maine Academy of Modern Music, I teach private lessons and mentor student bands, while also serving as one of two liaisons between faculty and administration.
