Adult BANDS

MAMM isn’t just for kids anymore! The guitar in the corner, the piano in the living room, the drums in the basement - can’t get loud enough at home? Join an Adult MAMM Band! Adults are matched into a band, choose songs, and rehearse once a week for 75 minutes with an instructor for an 8-week session.  MAMM will provide PA gear, drums, and keyboard and will schedule a final show for each session at a Portland venue. Rehearsals are scheduled on the same day & time for the duration of the 8-week session.

WHEN

  • Weekly 75m rehearsals are held in Portland, evenings M-F during each 8-week session. Daytime rehearsals may be available.

  • Your band will be scheduled on a day and time that works for you and your bandmates.

  • New students will be matched together based on instrumentation and musical preferences.

SESSION DATES

  • Session I: September 1 - October 24 / Final show October 24 1 at Blue

  • Session II: November 3 - January 16 / Final show January 16 at SPACE // No rehearsals the weeks of 11/24, 12/22, or 12/29

  • Session III: January 26 - March 27 / Final show March 28 at Oxbow // No rehearsals the week of 2/16

  • Session IV: April 13 - June 12 / Final show June 14 at Resurgam // No rehearsals the week of 4/20

WHERE

  • Rehearsals are held at our 144 Fore St. location in Portland.

TUITION

  • Tuition for each 8-week session is $330. 

  • The annual registration fee is $60. This fee covers registration for all MAMM programs for anyone in your household during the 2025-26 school year.

  • Payment is due in full before your first rehearsal. If you need to set up a payment plan, please inquire.
